8 tortilla slices

Remember to supervise your children whilst they are cooking.

THE INGREDIENTS

2 (or more) Tortilla wraps
80g / 3oz of Smooth Peanut Butter
Handful of currants, sultanas or raisins
1 banana
Chocolate decorations or anything you want to decorate.

COOKING METHOD

YOUR CHILD

  THE ADULT
YOUR CHILD - Spread a thin layer of peanut butter over the tortilla. It should be evenly spread. Use smooth peanut butter which is easier to spread than the crunchy type. Spread right up to the edges. Sprinkle some raisins, currants or sultanas over the top.

Bananas on the tortilla sandwich

YOU - Thinly slice a banana (slice longwise).

YOUR CHILD -Place the banana strips (how many depends on the size of the tortilla and the banana) about 3cm (1in) from the bottom of the tortilla.

YOUR CHILD - Starting at the bottom, firmly roll the tortilla into a circular log shape. Your child should be able to do this with just a little help from you. If you have spread the peanut butter to the edge previously, the log will stick together.

Mexican tortilla sandwich slice   YOU -Slice the tortilla as shown in the picture. This needs a reasonably sharp knife so that the tortilla is not squashed out of shape too much.

Decorate the side of each tortilla with a chocolate dot or anything  else you have.

THIS SANDWICH IS FROM MEXICO,
SO WRAP IT UP AND GIVE IT A GO!
